It's been ages since i last posted anything. So many things have going all over the place, and for once, i don't feel like whining about the many details that sucked me away from blogging for a long while now, but i'll whine about the general things soon. I mean, i have to.. Like, i really have to..
I kept fluctuating between trying to reach society online, and getting involved with more hands-on interaction (which was a hassle considering where i live now). Been going through realizations, wanted to blog about the results, and just when i decided to get back with a good set of unpublished drafts, an accident happens, and i'm back at the re-evaluation board again..
This time, I don't want to gamble on a second chance..
I present to you, item 18 on my bucket list: "Finally getting off my ass and hang something in public"
5 samples out of 12 pieces i'll be hanging up
The upcoming Athr Gallery event "Young Saudi Artists" accepted a sample of my work to exhibit, and i was going to hand over just recycled works i did before. After my car accident, though, I added a new set that's basically a half made collection of emotions (inspired by my submission to the 2012 Sketchbook Project) that I couldn't finish, for obvious reasons. And now I'll just put them in their current state, plus two more drawn while i was bed-bound for the past month..
Like I said, the exhibition will take place in Athr Gallery. For those living in Jeddah, it's right above Sairafi Megamall, top floor. Work will be hanged for almost a month, and I'll be there first couple of days of the launch, and then scattered through out the month. I'd be honored to meet you guys..
See you there :)
